Do you love seeing our Curvy Girl Lingerie Posts in your Feed? I sure hope so. We have over 450,000 followers there. Facebook.com/CurvyGirlInc We also have a “Group” as Facebook calls them. To me, they are both our Curvy Girl Community. GROUP HERE It is titled Curvy Girl Public Community because I wanted to make sure people realized it is not SECRET or PRIVATE. But, honestly, both places make up our Facebook Curvy Girl Community since that is where I interact with you and where we can interact with each other.
As you have probable read, Mr. Zuckerberg is under some pressure from the government and his shareholders. He has to keep the shareholders happy and make sure they get their dividends. And, the U.S. government is worried about how FB impacted the elections. Everyone is done with FAKE NEWS and people are also concerned about how much time we all spend scrolling our Facebook feed all dead eyed looking for that awesome next POST from our friends, family and our favorite businesses.
They have a big job to do. And, they are changing up the feed so you see your family, friends and your favorite brands first.
So, a few things that are being suggested to businesses who have a community and business like mine is to reach out to our current followers and ask you to choose Curvy Girl Lingerie as one of the brands you put in your news feed by going to your preferences and you will see a graphic that has that little crab on it. If you are into it, please choose PRIORITIZE who to see FIRST.
Or, if you do not want to do that, when you do see one of our Curvy Girl posts if you can COMMENT on them, that can also help. But, here is one of the new twists. They want to promote posts in the FEED that have a lot of comments. So, just posting a “that’s pretty” may not cut it anymore. They want to see real discussions and so the “experts” are recommending asking our customers and friends to engage more and possibly leave a sentence or two to create discussion. Posts that get that kind of engagement are also going to stay in the feed and rank better and will be seen by more people.
It’s all still so new, so these things may change. So stay tuned. Facebook changes dramatically about twice a year, but lots of small changes all year long. I can see how my FB ads will be very critical after this big change to the feed, to. So, if you see any of our ads – please do me a huge favor and comment on them, too. Those babies are SO expensive!
