If you are a person of size, you likely have a lot of anxiety about sports stadiums, movie theatres, the symphony seats and flying while fat.
The lack of accessibility can create so much anxiety for all of us. It sometimes even takes all of the fun out of the event because of it.
Doing something that should be simple, like going out to dinner, can be so embarrassing when we find that we do not fit into the seats or the booths.
I am very grateful to the show “This is Us” for bringing it up. Even more grateful to the All Go App team for sharing this as I no longer
watch “This is Us.”
Do you know about the App “Can We All Go?”
You can find their Android and Apple Store here: www.CanWeAllGo.com
This is the All Go App’s Facebook page link:

Here is the blog article that they wrote below:

And, this is a conversation we had about this exact topic on my Curvy Girl Lingerie page:
I noticed a lot of people on my page are saying they feel bad because they feel like a “burden” because of their weight.
I disagree. The airlines and the restaurants CHOOSE to not make their seating accessible to all bodies. They are trying
desperately to make squeeze more people into less room to make more profit. They chose to make these spaces inaccessible.
I refuse to take on one ounce of guilt because I am not thin. People of size make up 67% of the population. It is time
for them to MAKE their space accessible and not my responsibility to make myself smaller because of their fat phobia!
