Curvy Girl Secret Support Group : Let’s laugh, cry, kvetch, vent, support and celebrate together

Do you ever wish there was  safe place where you can talk privately other rad fatties? I think we all do.

This is going to be unlike any of our other groups we have on social media.

I have had this idea for years kicking around in my head and decided it’s time to get the ball rolling.

For the inaugural event and group, I am going to keep this women only.

This place will be a PRIVATE group which means no one can see your comment or questions. (Well, only the other members.)

This will be a safe place where we can discuss issues relating to EXISTING in a fat body.

I want to create a safe place like the Curvy Girl Lingerie edition of the “Traveling Pants.” A place where we are a sisterhood who shares your same difficulties and opportunities.  We will be like the “Cheers” for Curvy Girl women!!! (Too bad we can not have a virtual beer together.)

 

As part of this membership I will facilitate a twice a month LIVE chat on the 1st Tuesday of each month and on other day or evening decided by the members. (And, maybe a few more in between, but for sure on the 1st Tuesday you will have me facilitating a discussion.) And, I will be the admin of the group so I will be on the group often.  If this group really grows, I may ask one or two of you to help me admin the group, too. Just want to keep it a super safe place. And, no matter what we do, I will always be the person ADDING new members since they will have to pay their dues to get in.)

There are so many ideas I have for this group.  We currently have lots of public forums, but I want to keep this intimate and special. It will be like our very own online sorority with an annual get together thrown in there. (Of course, members who live near each other are always welcome to plan your own rad fatty get together.
